"Cool" New App

Rumour has it, those new fandangled MacBook Pros can get hot. How hot? Try "fry an egg" hot. Or "McDonald's coffee" hot.

Fortunately, the clever folks (or folk -- I think it's just one dude) over at eidac have created smcFanControl:

A "cool" application that allows you to control your MacBook's internal fan and drop the temperature by 40 degrees.

Save your legs from third-degree burns and extend the life of your laptop?! Sounds like a good idea to me!
